Royal Oak Walk

This walk takes us through parts of rural Saanich and several parks as well as some quiet residential streets. We start at Layritz Park with a steep walk to the overlook on Layritz Hill then wander along the Glendale Trail. Several rural streets and connector trails will take us to Beaver Lake Park where we will follow the shoreline to the main parking area. Next there will be a short exploration of the now closed Royal Oak Golf Course followed by quiet residential streets to Quicks Bottom Park and return to our starting point.
We will select a place to go for coffee after the walk for anyone interested.
