John Dean Park Walk

This is a moderately challenging but beautiful hike along forested trails in John Dean Provincial Park (LAU,WELNEW). Our viewpoint will be Pickles Bluff almost six kilometres into the hike. We’ll return through a pretty residential area. The distance is 8.8 km in total and our elevation will be 284 metres. Bring poles if you use them. We head to The Roost on the corner of McTavish Road and East Saanich Road for a well-deserved coffee break or more.
