John Dean Park Walk

This is a moderately challenging but beautiful hike along forested trails in John Dean Provincial Park (LAU,WELNEW). Our viewpoint will be Pickles Bluff almost 6 km into the hike. We’ll return through a pretty residential area. Bring poles if you use them. After our walk we will head to The Roost on the corner of McTavish Road and East Saanich Road for a well-deserved coffee break or more.
Directions: Take exit 26 off Hwy 17. Exit the roundabouts onto McTavish Road. Continue approximately 1 km past the four-way stop on McTavish Road and East Saanich Road. Turn left just past the fire hall on the left onto Cresswell Road. There is parking on both sides of Cresswell.
