The walk starts at the Beachlands parking lot with a long climb, passing a tribute to Emily Carr and climbing to a viewpoint at Lookout Lake Park. The walk travels through suburban neighbourhoods, Ocean View Park, Veterans Memorial Parkway, Havenwood Park, and another suburban neighbourhood. It ends downhill at Outlook Lake Park. The path passes through Havenwood Park and across the parkway to Royal Bay, where there are coffee options at Starbucks or Tim Hortons. After coffee, it’s a short walk back to the parking lot
