This route starts at the Atkins Road Parking Lot, which has plenty of parking and bathrooms. The walk will take us for a loop around Thetis Lake, followed by a loop along the E&N Rail Trail before crossing back over to the Galloping Goose and starting our way back to the starting point. The walk will give us a chance to go explore a new park, View Royal Park, and complete our coffee together at the Nest Cafe. People wishing for a shorter walk can easily shorten the walk to a 7 km hike.
