This is the agreed upon route that the Canadian Company of Pilgrims and the Pilgrim Office of Santiago have reached to be used as part of the Camino Inglés. The total distance is 31 km following the Galloping Goose and Lochside Trails as well as country roads.  You may want to break this up into a couple of days, or take on the challenge and complete it all in one day!

South Island Mini-Camino

The total distance as noted is 116 km. This is very close to the official distance from Sarria to Santiago (115 km) or Tui to Santiago (117 km). Other than day 1 there are lots of coffee stops.

North Saanich Fickle Fig

Our route will take us north of the airport, down to Patricia Bay, and then back through fields, trails, and woodlands along a mostly flat path. We always stop for coffee at the Fickle Fig after about 10 km. The total distance for the walk is approximately 11 km, with a short final stretch returning to Canadian Tire.
