Please watch your footing and bring poles if you like using them. There are no toilet facilities on the trails themselves\, but we’ll make a short detour to the parking lot outhouse after three kilometres. \nAfter the hike\, we’ll head to The Roost (at East Saanich Road and McTavish) for coffee or a bite. \nAt this time of year\, trail conditions can change quickly. If the weather makes the park unsafe\, we’ll switch to a safer alternative: a walk straight down Cresswell to the Victoria International Airport flight path\, with a coffee stop at the Fickle Fig halfway around. \nWalk Statistics: \nTotal Distance: 9.3  km\nEstimated Finish Time: 2.5 hours (with coffee)\nElevation Change: 394m\nDifficulty: Easy to Intermediate\nSurface: Dirt trails some pavement

SUMMARY:Walking Under the Tuscan Sun - Presentation at Robinson's Outdoor Store
DESCRIPTION:Via Francigena stretches more than 2\,200 kilometers\, a pilgrim’s thread running from Canterbury’s ancient stones to the eterna city of Rome. With every mile\, he discovered for himself the true meaning of la dolce vita – the sweet\, unhurried life that Italy offers to those who travel it on foot. \nDoors Open at 6:00 pm. Show starts at 6:15 pm \nRegister by phone: 250-385-3429 or email robinsonsoutdoors@shaw.ca
