DESCRIPTION:Meeting Point: Esquimalt Gorge Park and Pavilion\nMeeting Point Map: https://maps.app.goo.gl/axGpQM4ZECM4QFC67\nRoute Map: https://onthegomap.com/s/hpamddie \nWe will meet at Esquimalt Gorge Park and Pavillion and cross the Tillicum Narrows to walk along the Gorge. Once we reach Admirals Road we will have the option to stop at iluka espresso for a coffee depending on the mood of the group. We will continue to the E&N Rail Trail for the walk to downtown Victoria. The trail along the water and the Galloping Goose will lead us to the Bay Street Bridge and Brass Monkey Brewing Co (formerly Moon Under Water) for some lunch. After lunch\, we will cross back over the bridge and complete the final 4 km back to the starting location. \nWalk Statistics:\nTotal Distance: 16 km\nEstimated Finish Time: 4-5 hours (with coffee)\nElevation Change: 270 m\nDifficulty: Easy\nSurface: Pavement and dirt trails

DESCRIPTION:Meeting Point: Lochside Park\, Saanich\nMeeting Point Map: https://maps.app.goo.gl/MJC93zJEqrwA2Ewr8\nRoute Map: https://onthegomap.com/s/7afk1m7k \nThis walk will take us from Lochside Park at Lochside Trail then to the high view point of Sayward Hill\, where we can see the beautiful Haro Strait and the northern part of the peninsula. The trail will lead us to the peaceful Sayward Hill Park forest\, followed by a leisurely stroll through Cordova Bay residential area. The route will come to the hidden gem of Cordova Bay: Doumac Park\, where we can see towering evergreen trees  that resemble an Emily Carr painting. After all the ups and downs\, we will go for a coffee break at Mattick’s Farm via Cordova Beach before making our way back to Lochside Park. \nWalk Statistics:\nTotal Distance: 8 km\nEstimated Finish Time: 4 hours (with coffee)\nElevation Change: 126m\nDifficulty: Easy\nSurface: Pavement\, sand and dirt trails

SUMMARY:Oak Bay Coastal Walk

We head down through neighbourhoods to Demitasse for coffee\, then  to Anderson Hill Park for more spectacular views. Next stop will be Windsor Park then back to our starting point.
